Beach in Yellow Bird Sea
The location was excellent, the manager Vincent is very fair and accommodating while the property is going through many projects and hopefully improvements. He seems to be in a tough position of trying to make things work with limited resources. The room unfortunately needed some repairs and lacked cleanliness. We did not see housekeeping much, but did not request and simply cleaned up the areas as needed. The property has great potential, and there is progress being made, but it seems it is very slow I know sometimes it is hard to find skilled workers and that might be the case here.

Yellow bird is always my first choice of stay when in jamaica. I’ve been coming for 4 years now so that should already say a lot , i have stayed at yellow bird every single time. The staff is amazing, location is perfect so close to everything. The bartender is such a nice woman and makes the best drinks. My all time favorite is their beach area. Opening your door to the most beautiful room i’ll never get over. I will always reccomend staying here when you travel to jamaica.

the location is awesome. Can walk to town easily and also evening entertainment is within walking distance. And of course the beautiful beach, which has just a few chairs here and there and to me that feels much nicer than the big places with all the chairs lined up. Really peaceful place with a nice garden. Owner has made some nice improvements to the rooms (visited before in 2018 and now again in 2024)

Big-ups to the chef who went above and beyond so we could have a glimpse of the Jamaican culinary experience. Sadly for us we would have liked to spend much more time there.
